Hughie O’Donoghue: Commission for St. Paul’s Cathedral

Hughie O’Donoghue’s painting St Martin Divides His Cloak celebrates the life and witness of the Patron Saint of the Society and the chapel St Martin of Tours.

The work looks at the theme of chivalry and reflects the chivalric story of St Martin giving his cloak to a destitute beggar. It will be prominently displayed above the altar in the crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral, in the chapel of the Imperial Society of Knights Bachelor.

A talk will be given by O’Donoghue in the Wren Suite on 4th September at 1 pm.
